BiographyI was 2 courses from completion of an associate degree in Computer Science from Northern Kentucky University, when I transferred with my employer to New Jersey. Wanting to continue my education, I enrolled in an undergraduate program in business at Rutger's University, however due to my love of reading & writing I changed my major and completed a Bachelor of Arts - English. Over the course of my career and my travels, I've become very drawn to both International & Marketing, so I continued my graduate education by earning a Masters in International Management - Marketing from the University of Maryland, University College.
I've always loved reading and also enjoy poetry. It would be hard for me to just choose one favorite genre, which is likely why my writing is so diverse across multiple genres. On a whim, I entered the 73rd Annual Writer's Digest Writing Competition in 2004. That year there were 17,584 manuscripts entered across 10 different categories. When I placed Number 7 in the Inspirational category, I began to devote more of my free time to writing and I'm still doing so today. I grew up in the great states of Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana, and currently reside in New Jersey. Due to this and my love of travel, many of my stories take place both in the midwest, the east coast and around the world. I have several works in progress across multiple genres underway.
